Building Legally-Aware Leaders: 4th Cohort of Our Legal Training Kicks Off

This Saturday marked the beginning of another powerful learning journey as the 4th cohort of the Legal Training for HR and Line Managers officially took off.

For six weeks, every Saturday, participants will explore the legal side of managing people and contracts — not from a textbook, but through real cases, relatable discussions, and practical insights designed to help them make confident, compliant decisions in the workplace.

This program was built for those who lead — HR managers, line managers, and senior leaders who understand that managing people also means managing risk. From wrongful terminations and disciplinary procedures to compliance gaps and contract management, each module is a step toward becoming a more empowered and legally aware professional.

What makes this cohort extra special is its depth of experience and shared purpose. We have participants returning from our flagship certification programs, including five HR professionals eager to deepen their legal understanding. We also welcomed corporate participants such as Kibi Goldfields, who sponsored two of their team members to join the training — a strong signal of the growing commitment organisations are making to compliance and ethical leadership.

The opening session was as lively as it was reflective. Participants exchanged experiences, asked tough questions, and discovered that legal knowledge isn’t just about avoiding mistakes — it’s about leading responsibly.

If you’ve been meaning to strengthen your understanding of employment and labour laws, this is your moment. Registration closes on Friday, 31st October 2025.

Don’t wait for a compliance issue to teach you what you could have learned in class.
